All we need is crafts!!

Yeah, all we need in social work is craft techniques. That's not true, but we REALLY need it some classes in wish some proffesors teach us how to make an interesting presentation with or without a powerpoint (yeah, when I say that we need a course about crafts techniques, I also refer to visual techniques).

Social work is a very complete career. In five years, we have classes about everything (Feminist, cualitative and cuantitative techniques, history and approaches of social work, and an endless etc.). The other day, a teacher that I don't TKM so much, say to us: "I don't want that you (lazy asses) make the final presentation of the course with the tradicional powerpoint"

Now the miss hates powerpoints, but she never did something different in the whole career (shame on you!)
When she said that, I thinking: "that's all that I needed, thank you for the consideration in the final stressful period of the year (with one evaluation per day). Yeah, I'm beeing sarcastic. I hated her!! Never ever somebody teached us to do something apart of the famous powerpoints (not even teached  us to do a decent powerpoint too). I don't know how to do a painting, not even a needlework, not even an acting, not even a song, I'm such a mess. But I'm not the only mess in social work (I'm the best mess in social work hahaha (what a lie)). Why not teach us how to do some crafts or beauty kind of visual presentations? my hypothesis is that this university has a lot of dollars in her pocket, despite saying otherwise.

"Ennio Vivaldi crying with a hundred million dollars in her pocket"
Why not spend a little money on the initiative that I propose? I know there are some CFGs that could teach us something about this, but I want that the craft course be an obligatory class in our career (I'm always one step ahead of your criticisms, stalkers). Goodbye, and contact me if you want to support the cause.

Another Brick in the Wall (original title...)

Walls - Konstantino Kavafis

Without consideration, neither piety, neither shame
They raised walls around me, thicks and highs.
And now I find here, so desperate.
I can not think of other things: This luck gnaws my brain...
That was because I haved so many things to do outside!
How I couldn't see when they raised the walls?
But I never heard the constructors. Not even a noise.
by outside they imperceptibly enclosed me.

Walls, not a new thing in the world. But we aren't talking about tiny walls like my houses wall (we will talk about this topic in english five ahaha). Otherwise, we are talking about big walls! the biggest wall that a human want to construct in the history (AHAHA I don't know that this affirmation is real), I'm talking about Trump's wall.

Doing it right...
Like always in my life, last year I was obsessed with walls. I payed attention at all the walls that I saw (Shingeki No Kyojin's Wall, Game of Throne's Wall, The great Chinese Wall, The Wall of Pink Floyd, Etc.). Obviously Trump's wall doesn't being unnoticed from me. But Donald wasn't invented the wall in the frontier of Mexico, that was Bill Clinton in 1994.

I think that a "wall" involve a methaphory and a lot of contradictions in there. A wall is a physical frontier (but not only a physical). We and our bodys are frontiers, walls. A wall would be useful for grown up. A wall is a limit. The limits sometimes allow us to develop, but sometimes no.

Trump's wall want to forget a lot of interaction that is in so many places between Mexico and USA. Trump's wall is saying to us that mexican inmigrant are the enemy, the problem, the parasite that don't allow to americans (and what kind of american? the white and racist one?) live well. The wall, in this case, divert the attention to the importantless problems.

I readed the last day "The white supremacist that attack and kill migrants look today more legitimated. It was found that with the cosntruction of the first wall in 1994, emigration did not decrease and, instead, the number of deaths increased" adds Valenzuela.

Don't let you be fooled, that is that Trump's wall is making (Make America hate again)

Bye Bye.

If you see this series, you instantly convert on my best friend (Not a lie)

Since the teacher chose breaking bad series (he is the big boss), I wanna chose other of my favorite series of all my life: vikings. This series interested me because when I was a little pendex I played a MMORPG (massively multiplayer online rol-playing game) who was based it central argumment in the Ragnarok (the game was called like that), one of the important event's of the Nordic culture. In this religious event the gods of the vikings fight in a battle that determines the end of the world, also in the apocalypse of the cristianism.

A series about the vikings and their culture clairly called my attention. This series has a biggest elaboration, and the most of the guide lines are based in historycal facts that actually happened. The creator of vikings, Michael Hirst, maked that series for History Channel. in 2013 his first season went on air for the public.

This series tell the history about how the viking culture expands it across the old world, mainly in the actually England and France. In vikings we can se their cultural practices and an social order based in clairly identified hierarchies, where the violence and the physical strength decide "who was be the king"..

Ragnar Lothbrok, protagonist of the series, accompanied by Lagerta (Ragnar's wife and viking warrior) and his family show to us how the viking society was in the past, and the problem that the disunity of their caused. Viking disunity made the whole culture remain in a state of uncertainly due to the infertile lands in which these Nordic lived (live), and the count's disinterest in having good lands in which to live. Clearly, Ragnar kick their ass and was converted in a king.

I admire the character of Ragnar Lothbrok because he has a great openness of mind in philosophical and religious issues, as well as a great intelligence to see the needs of his people and resolve them together with a wonderful leadership exercised for the benefit of all (I must mention that the actor, Travis Fimmel, is too hot to).

(Spoiler alert) I cried with Ragnar's death. However, one of my favorite scenes is when the Vikings are in one of their assault campaigns to other lands and the leadership of Ragnar is questioned. Ragnar opens the possibility for others to give their ideas. All fail. Here is the scold that Ragnar spit on all of their subdits:

Give this series a chance...

A postgraduate degree for Chepo (Sad post alert)

Well, the question about if I want to take a postgraduate degree program or something similar makes me feel very uncomfortable because, first of all, I can not stop thinking about that a postgraduate course is very expensive for me and my family, and if I want to live the "postgraduate experience" I must have some work for make some money and pay a little diploma. Get into a debt is not an option (not if I only get 600k or less).

But is true, obviously I thinked in take a postgraduate experience some in my life. The desire for continue with another study (related or no with social work) born someday when I was waiting a friend whose was pee in a New Facso bathroom. He taked so much time in him issue (as always) that I bored a lot and I began to read the posters on the wall. In some of that posters was this seductive proposition:

Looks very bad, but was the only picture that I found :D

Gerontology is a field that studies old age in its biological, social, economic, cultural, etc. dimensions. I don't know why i'm interested in that kind of studies, but I suppose that the explanation is related with my experiencience with third age people, a very sad experience fullty of poverty, disabilities, and work far of their homes because the retirements are a bad joke in all of their senses.

I'm afraid that the old age of mine be the worst part of my life, and I want to know how to help people in that condition, at least could help some of my familiar in a difficult situation. Anyway, y want to live ninety years old Ahaahah, but live well, with all my senses in a optimum state, that's the important thing.

I leave you a song (sad song) that evidences one of the problems that we live in Chile today, -and surely also in the world-, when we get older:

Bye 😭

Masotherapist for the win 👌👌

Yeah, I study social work, I know... BUT!! I don't wanna work in that discipline all my life, because the job of the social worker is very very stressfull, and I don't wanna compromise my own wellfare with a work that isn't my passion.

I wanna spend my summer time learning Masotherapy (massage therapy) with a friend called Rachid (I say to him "Rancid"). This is the plan: we wanna search a course (not to expensive) to learn the basic knowledges about that technique. Later we are going to practice each other the techniques that we learn at the day with the benefit that I trust in him (and Rancid trust in me too).

Tumblr Guy

Tumblr, my dear Tumblr. I have this social network about three years ago, and it is one of the few that I have not deleted (yet). When I have free time, I check Tumblr once a day, and when I'm stressed out by the university, I check it even more to evade my sad teenage reality.

In this social network, after registering and creating a blog, you can share music, images, videos, gifts, text and links of all kinds. The idea of having a Tumblr is to follow other people who share content of your interest. I, for example, follow some art and music blogs or people who follow my Tumblr (in reward).

Tumblr's company logo
One thing to keep in mind is that in 2012 Tumblr had 46.2 million blogs, which shows the great activity that this social media had only five or six years ago (https://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tumblr)

One of the reasons why I like Tumblr is because very few people visit it today, which allows me to share everything i want without worrying about what others will think about it (F*** others).

Example of a Tumblr dashboard

I really like the space of "apparently" privacy that I have achieved in this social media. As I have talked so much about Tumblr, I send to all my fans the link of mine if you want to visit it http://payasobob.tumblr.com/

Don't send ask :D

Maquinaria Festival 2011 💀💀

When I was fourteen years old, I supplicate to my momma for a ticket to the Machinery Festival of 2011, because I was (still I are) a grunge little boy, and I wasn't wanna lose Alice in Chains (first visit in Chile) and Chris Cornell (RIP) together in the same concert.

I, my mother and a friend (Bryan) prepare to that great day, where there were also bands like Faith No More and Megadeth (that really liked to me too)

Line up of that beautiful concert (I went to the first day)

The day was very intense and beautiful from beginning to the end, but I want to talk about the most powerfull moment of the day. When I and my companions go to watch Chris Cornell concert, I was thinking "He will never ever wanna play a song of Temple of the Dog.

Temple of the Dog was a band that Chris Cornell do with Eddie Vedder (Pearl Jam vocalist), and I really like the song called "Hunger Strike". I liked so much that song, that even I played with my friends in the school (with a very bad voices either).

"Life gives you surprises, susprises gives you the life" says the chilean proverb.

Here is the record of that unforgettable moment (I almost cry 😢😢)
